Second Official Learning Event
The
HPR*TEC Core Learning Organization's quarterly meeting was held
January 6-8 at the Consumer Electronics
Show in in Las Vegas.
Representatives
from several of the High Plains states attended the meeting that
included presentations, group activities and team building.
Attendees included:
Eric Feder, Michael Lowe, Stevan Kalmon, Greg Rasmussen, Dan Pullen,
Brad Waldbauer, Sheila Cassidy, Al Steckelberg, Gloria Steele,
Doug Adams, Marilyn Ault, Christy Blauer, Jerry Chaffin, Jayne
James, Jennifer Holvoet, and Scott Finnerty.
Because the meeting
was held in conjunction with the Consumer Electronics Show, HPR*TEC
meeting attendees were also able to attend portions of the conference,
which included keynote addresses and exhibits of up-and-coming
technology products.
The focus of this
quarterly meeting was to continue shared learning experiences
in a project-based format. This format allowed participants to
develop some new skills, expand their knowledge of new electronic
technologies, and become more aware of emerging trends. Moreover,
this format allowed for the creation of artifacts from their experiences
which can be shared with colleagues.
