Ready for a Boom in Online Gaming

Laws, laws and more laws have prevented and controlled online gaming in the United States for quite some time. The industry has been around for about 15 years but to this day there are some international gaming sites that US citizens are not allowed to partake in.

Times are changing now and it seems as if the industry is poised for a big boom in 2010 once the United States Government, namely Barney Frank, realize that online gaming and gambling in general can be the ticket that gets the economy flowing once again. When the government wakes up to this fact they will, hopefully, change the anti-online gambling law that was “snuck in” to another bill.

The economy sure would benefit from the relaxation of this bill and lawmakers are finally beginning to realize this.
Of course the whole point of the law against it is said to be moral but the truth is that the Feds cannot control it, just yet. This of course is opinion only but it is a well-known fact that if the Federal Reserve cannot control something concerning money, it gets banned.

It is really a simple concept to consider. People these days may not have the money to fly out to Las Vegas or any other casino destination. This is where online gaming in the United States could play a pivotal role in helping to rebuild the economy. People can just log on and begin to play their favorite games all from the comfort of their own home; allowing them to save money that can be spent out in the real world.

Analysts expect the online gaming industry to grow by 5% to 10% over the next year and even more if the laws get relaxed. While this may not a great number, it will add to the enjoyment of many and provide a brighter financial outlook for some. I hope to be in the “some” category.

Will the hoped for boom in online gaming take over the gambling industry and put a hurt on brick and mortar casinos? I doubt it, if anything I think it will help the situation. As people win more money online they will then be able to take those cherished trips to Vegas and other gambling destinations.

It is not as difficult as our lawmakers try to make it seem.
In fact, there are some pretty sad inconsistencies within our great nation. Online gambling is a problem but cigarettes are perfectly fine. This is quite possibly the biggest proof about the online gaming industry having laws against it due to taxation and control. You may or may not agree but further investigation will prove to you that there is something not quite right with the regulations and restrictions.

Hopefully in 2010, the online casino industry will see the boom that the experts are predicting. This would be a great thing for America and the world because many of us travel to other counties quite frequently and along with us we take our money. It is really quite simple but we humans can make things more difficult than what they really need to be.

You will be seeing more casinos opening up online when the USA does relax it’s laws somewhat. This is the wave of the future and it will happen this year.
