When the Economy Hits Your Online Casino Budget
The U.S. economy is in peril and the government is bickering amongst themselves on just what to do about it. But, what does this mean for your vacation and gambling budget? Will you scale back the amount of money spent on the casinos or will you continue to forge ahead with the idea that one great win will make it all better?
If you are considering going to Vegas but cutting your gambling budget in half you will have other options. There is a lot to do and see in Vegas and most of it is free. So, you can either use up your gambling budget all in one shot or spread it out so that you can gamble every day while taking advantage of some of the attractions that await you.
I personally think it is best to spread out the budget for the entire trip. This way, you will not be depressed while checking out some of the opportunities. The Vegas strip has much to offer and much of it is free. So, take a break and enjoy the adult playground.
Circus Circus offers a free “Ciruqe du Soleil” type of show.
Performers will entertain you and your family with some pretty amazing feats that most people would never try to attempt. This is one attraction that is fun for the entire family and the atmosphere is loud and crazy, so make sure you are willing and able to take in a very busy time.
One of the busiest hotel attractions in Vegas is the white tiger setting at the Mirage. These wild tigers are normally very docile and may generally be sleeping when you visit them but they are definitely worth the trip over to the hotel to take a look.
Freemont Street offers a variety of things to do and see for free or at the very least dirt cheap. The most famous is the parade of lights that is available free of charge. This will provide you with a great evening full of entertainment without breaking into your gambling budget or any part of your vacationing budget.
If you are taking an entire evening off from gambling you can head on over to the Bellagio Hotel. While you are enjoying a great dinner at one of their fantastic restaurants or cocktails in the Fontana Lounge you will have the opportunity to enjoy one of the best water and light shows that the USA has to offer.
Of course there are always the “show girl” performances that attract many people from around the world and have garnered quite a following. Some of these shows may not be suitable for families but Vegas has a reputation of offering something for everyone and this certainly fits the bill for some.
There are many activities that we all can come up with to fill our time so that our gambling budget is not used up within the first couple of days, or in some cases the first couple of hours of our trip. The trick is finding what you like to do and enjoying it.

The economy has hit my gambling budget big time. We can see that there may be some relief in the future but it cannot come quick enough though because I really miss gaming.
I miss my slot machines and hope that our personal economic situation will get better.
this is an interesting article but I always manage to fit gambling into my budget
those who make a living gaming will always find a way
There is an old saying that goes “where there is a will there is a way.”
Gambling is too much fun to let a pesky little thing like the economy get in the way.
Interesting conversation on the economy’s effect on gaming, Vegas has taken a hit but that is due more to traveling budgets being cut.
