What I Learned On My Gambling Cruise

If you want to enjoy some of the best gambling around or at least on a river or oceans near you, you should take a 2 to 4 hour gambling cruise. No matter what the outcome of your financial situation at the end you will obtain memories that will last a lifetime.

When I went the cruise was free. It included a buffet and free drinks as long as you were sitting at a machine or table. If you take off from the Atlantic Ocean from Florida you will have to wait until you get at least 2 miles off shore before you can begin gambling. At first we thought this would be a good time to eat. We later found that if you do not want the temptation of losing your shirt you may want to wait.

We went with a budget and though there were ATM machines abound on the ship we left our cards at home. This is a good idea but yet we did end up bored after we ran out of money.

At first the slot machines were loose and we got quite a bit of winning hits. That was short lived though and soon enough the money just kept going away. It was exciting to see someone hit the jackpot and remain on the ship after the cruise so that he could pick up his money. This gives me hope that someday it could happen to us.

When we ran out of money we wandered around the ship and went out on the small deck that was offered. Of course being in the ocean at night did not give us much of a view except for the millions of stars above us. We then wandered around some more and ended up sitting by the exit of the ship waiting for the cruise to end.

My advice to anyone who is considering taking a gambling cruise with a pre-determined budget is to eat last. Our ship had three floors of buffets and gambling that we could have enjoyed if we were not so insistent on rushing to eat so that we could find a spot. The next time we will find the spot first.

I also suggest eating a light meal or a snack prior to boarding. You will need something to soak up all that free alcohol that the waitresses freely bring to you. If you reach your gambling limit, then it will be time to eat. You will be able to take your time and enjoy it while waiting for the cruise to end.

Another thing to consider is to keep the budget within your means but try not to make it a cheap experience either. Make sure you have the funds to enjoy your time on the cruise. Many gambling cruises are free because they want you to spend your money on the machines so this is a great opportunity for you to splurge a little. After all, you will probably not be going every weekend. But that will depend upon how far you wish to take your gambling habit.

Glad you enjoyed your experiences. There will surely be more in your future if you hang in there and don’t let yourself become addicted. :) People today really worry about that and all it takes is a strong will to be able to break the addiction or not even get to that horrible place at all.

I gamble to win big so I don’t care about the food or the drinks. This is some sound advice though if you want to enjoy the experience of gambling…. without spending a lot of money.

People do it because it is fun even if they can’t afford to try their luck at the big money. :) This could be a great date night for married couples or singles. There are also groups that take gambling cruises all the time.
