In sports it is just as important for athletes to have a winning attitude and go through some sort of “mental training” as well as the physical training. Online casino gambling is much the same in terms of learning the proper strategies for the game as well as preparing yourself mentally for competition, whether it is against the online casino or against other player.

Mental training can be as simple as visualizing yourself winning and then taking it a step further and actually believing what you are visualizing. This is a lot easier said than done but soon enough you will realize that the proper mental attitude is essential not only to winning but to enjoying your online casino gaming experiences.

When you are at the online casino make sure that your mind is in the right place. Too often we go in with a nervous attitude and sometimes we go with an attitude that nothing can stop us and we are going to win enough money that we no longer have to work.

Both of these traits are easy to spot, making us look as if we are either very inexperienced or we don’t really believe we have what it takes to win. Either way, this can spell trouble for both our online casino experience and our wallets.

Body language and showing confidence are key factors if you seriously want to have the winning edge. You may have heard people talk about this before and thought that the online casino odds were stacked against you no matter what. This is simply not true. Entering the online casino with your head up, demonstrating a confident walk, talk, smile and even a firm handshake will work wonders in intimidating your competition.

It may sound like this is something that has nothing to do with online casino gambling but these aspects are important in everyday life so why wouldn’t they be the key to winning in casinos?

If you have taken the time to study the games you want to play, learned the best strategies, and know what to look for then you should not have a problem with demonstrating some confidence in how you carry yourself in the online casino.

Now that we all know how we should carry ourselves to project confidence and how to use it to give ourselves the edge there is one more thing that we should focus on. This would be those who do not project confidence. Learn how to spot them and stay away from them.

They say that misery loves company and if we are sitting next to someone who is definitely losing, remember you can tell by their body language, we should get up and leave. Just as a positive attitude is contagious so is a negative one. I am not trying to make anyone believe in Karma but the idea that someone can give off enough bad vibes to make anyone’s experience a bad is more than an idea. It is a fact of life. We teach this to our children so we should learn to take our own advice.

It seems as if the biggest draw toward online casinos is the thrill of winning big on the slot machines. It is fun and can be a rather mindless way to spend some extra time. I say mindless because it is fairly easy to get lost and heavily involved in simply pushing a button for hours on end, if you are lucky.

I am not saying that slot machines do not take some sort of skill. You do have to know when to say when and try your luck on another machine. But if you want the real thrill of strategy you are probably one of those people who would appreciate games such as roulette, black jack, and video poker and so on.

These games, even though they are online, do take a skill that most amateur casino gamers do not have. Many players don’t want to sit and push a button all evening. They are after the thrill of competing against the computer just as much as they are in it for the money.

Roulette is a game that may seem impossible to come up with a winning strategy for. The sheer amount of random variable of the numbers is what makes it one of the most difficult games to figure out. It is the thrill that draws players here. Statistics show that roulette jackpot winnings, just like the slot machines, are based on pure and simply luck.

Craps can be the same way. It is the roll of the dice that will payout in big winnings if your number happens to come up. In this game the player is in it for the feeling of control while rolling the dice. However in online versions you do not actually get to hold the dice but there is still more of a sense of control.

When playing blackjack online you will have to learn how to strategize. The same goes for poker and Texas Holdem. In fact, blackjack can be a very challenging and strategic game even online. Some casinos offer a chart to help you determine how to best conquer the dealer.

Instinct is your best friend when it comes to online gaming. It is the same with land based gaming. Learning to follow your instincts is the most important strategy that one can develop. You can have that “gut feeling” that it is time to get out and ignore it; but you will most likely regret that decision fairly quickly.

Second guessing yourself all the time is another trap that we can all fall into. Sometimes our first reaction and decision is the best one to follow through with. It would seem that gambling strategy is pretty much the same as life strategies. Following your instinct and not second guessing yourself will go a long way toward success.
I think that we online gamers should try out all of the games available. This way we can determine what works best for us and which games we need to develop a little more skill in before we begin pouring money into them.

The good news is that most online casinos offers free games to get your feet wet. Of course some of them will show the online casino games paying off much more than reality but this is a perfect opportunity to learn the games and practice until you feel that you can survive the real world of online casinos.

Bodog is one online casino that offers an abundant amount of free online gaming experiences. It really doesn’t matter what type of games you are interested in because this site will help you to learn how to compete with some of the fiercest competitors around.

Checking out Bodog is fun and easy. You do not have to download any online casino software. You can practice the free games utilizing their flash version. For example, you can learn the skills and techniques needed to win at blackjack or even keno all with just the click of the mouse.

In addition to practicing traditional online casino games you can try your luck and gain experience learning new games such as three card rummy or make the switch from American roulette to European roulette. A surprising twist to the European version is that your odds are much better than the American version, so it might be worth your time to give it a practice run before laying down the cash.

The most important thing to remember about online gaming is to take your time and practice everything that is available. Learning the techniques as well as learning how to follow your instincts will go a long way in securing wins and possibly even a jackpot or two when you finally decide to play for real money.

Video poker is quickly becoming a very popular trend and soon it may take over slot machines for the top spot in online casino gambling. Once again, practice is the best method to learning how to play and how to anticipate what is coming up next.

Bodog is not the only online casino that offers free practice games in a flash version. In fact, most of the online casinos do, it is just that Bodog is garnering the most attention today. The site offers generous bonuses based upon deposits, length of play and incredible bonuses for referring friends.

There are over 70 games to play for free which should give anyone with the desire to try out online gaming the opportunity to practice any of their favorites. Included here also is the opportunity to bet on sporting events and horse racing. Not having to download any software is certainly a plus as this can take up valuable space on your computer and quite simply waste your time if you should decide that this site is not for you. Bodog seems to have something for everyone. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite places online to visit.

Laws, laws and more laws have prevented and controlled online gaming in the United States for quite some time. The industry has been around for about 15 years but to this day there are some international gaming sites that US citizens are not allowed to partake in.

Times are changing now and it seems as if the industry is poised for a big boom in 2010 once the United States Government, namely Barney Frank, realize that online gaming and gambling in general can be the ticket that gets the economy flowing once again. When the government wakes up to this fact they will, hopefully, change the anti-online gambling law that was “snuck in” to another bill.

The economy sure would benefit from the relaxation of this bill and lawmakers are finally beginning to realize this.
Of course the whole point of the law against it is said to be moral but the truth is that the Feds cannot control it, just yet. This of course is opinion only but it is a well-known fact that if the Federal Reserve cannot control something concerning money, it gets banned.

It is really a simple concept to consider. People these days may not have the money to fly out to Las Vegas or any other casino destination. This is where online gaming in the United States could play a pivotal role in helping to rebuild the economy. People can just log on and begin to play their favorite games all from the comfort of their own home; allowing them to save money that can be spent out in the real world.

Analysts expect the online gaming industry to grow by 5% to 10% over the next year and even more if the laws get relaxed. While this may not a great number, it will add to the enjoyment of many and provide a brighter financial outlook for some. I hope to be in the “some” category.

Will the hoped for boom in online gaming take over the gambling industry and put a hurt on brick and mortar casinos? I doubt it, if anything I think it will help the situation. As people win more money online they will then be able to take those cherished trips to Vegas and other gambling destinations.

It is not as difficult as our lawmakers try to make it seem.
In fact, there are some pretty sad inconsistencies within our great nation. Online gambling is a problem but cigarettes are perfectly fine. This is quite possibly the biggest proof about the online gaming industry having laws against it due to taxation and control. You may or may not agree but further investigation will prove to you that there is something not quite right with the regulations and restrictions.

Hopefully in 2010, the online casino industry will see the boom that the experts are predicting. This would be a great thing for America and the world because many of us travel to other counties quite frequently and along with us we take our money. It is really quite simple but we humans can make things more difficult than what they really need to be.

The U.S. economy is in peril and the government is bickering amongst themselves on just what to do about it. But, what does this mean for your vacation and gambling budget? Will you scale back the amount of money spent on the casinos or will you continue to forge ahead with the idea that one great win will make it all better?

If you are considering going to Vegas but cutting your gambling budget in half you will have other options. There is a lot to do and see in Vegas and most of it is free. So, you can either use up your gambling budget all in one shot or spread it out so that you can gamble every day while taking advantage of some of the attractions that await you.

I personally think it is best to spread out the budget for the entire trip. This way, you will not be depressed while checking out some of the opportunities. The Vegas strip has much to offer and much of it is free. So, take a break and enjoy the adult playground.

Circus Circus offers a free “Ciruqe du Soleil” type of show.
Performers will entertain you and your family with some pretty amazing feats that most people would never try to attempt. This is one attraction that is fun for the entire family and the atmosphere is loud and crazy, so make sure you are willing and able to take in a very busy time.

One of the busiest hotel attractions in Vegas is the white tiger setting at the Mirage. These wild tigers are normally very docile and may generally be sleeping when you visit them but they are definitely worth the trip over to the hotel to take a look.

Freemont Street offers a variety of things to do and see for free or at the very least dirt cheap. The most famous is the parade of lights that is available free of charge. This will provide you with a great evening full of entertainment without breaking into your gambling budget or any part of your vacationing budget.

If you are taking an entire evening off from gambling you can head on over to the Bellagio Hotel. While you are enjoying a great dinner at one of their fantastic restaurants or cocktails in the Fontana Lounge you will have the opportunity to enjoy one of the best water and light shows that the USA has to offer.

Of course there are always the “show girl” performances that attract many people from around the world and have garnered quite a following. Some of these shows may not be suitable for families but Vegas has a reputation of offering something for everyone and this certainly fits the bill for some.

There are many activities that we all can come up with to fill our time so that our gambling budget is not used up within the first couple of days, or in some cases the first couple of hours of our trip. The trick is finding what you like to do and enjoying it.

No matter whether we love the slot machines, poker, roulette, black jack,
the lottery, horse racing, car racing, betting on football games or even
bingo it is all gambling no matter how you look at it.

We are not saying gambling is bad, in fact there are many instances where gambling can serve the community.
There are children’s sporting clubs that take part in fundraisers concerning gambling. Bingo is a big one. This game can raise a lot of money for clubs and the players turn out in droves for their chance to win the jackpot every week.

Any method you choose to gamble you will most likely feel your heart race a bit as you anticipate the numbers being drawn, the wheel stopping, your number being drawn out of a hat during a raffle, or even spinning the wheel. The excitement mounts as you anxiously listen and look to see if your life will be changed in an instant.

While most will never see life changing events happening during normal gambling, there are those who do and while many enjoy the benefits for the rest of their lives, there are some whose landslide winnings create too much of a change in their life for them to be able to handle.

For example, a guy won the lottery and shortly after turned up missing and was feared dead. Some do-gooders verbally attacked a man who won the lottery because he was a convicted child molester. Thankfully most people who win big during gambling will go off into the sunset and either enjoy their lives or gamble some more. Many will contribute a portion of their winnings to charity.

If I am ever blessed enough to win such a life changing windfall, I would definitely donate 10% straight off the top and then try to do what is right with the rest. This is so much easier said than done. People say they will do the right thing, but will they really?

In the gambling world you will always have people who look down upon you. They say that you are sinning while they go and buy their lottery ticket. They do this using the schools as an excuse. After all, most states claim to have lotteries to raise money for schools but do they really? I can testify that in the state I live in the schools are in big trouble while the lottery brings in billions of dollars every week but you will never hear the hypocrites complain about this.

It really does not matter what type of gaming you are involved in it is all gambling. It can be a lot of fun when kept in perspective but if not, it can mean ruins for your finances and your family. The best thing to do if you are considering taking part in the excitement of any type of gambling is to go in with the determination of having fun and resolving not to let the big win change you in any
way.

When I search the Internet for the biggest bonuses available at online casinos, I normally come up with a list of sorts telling me which sites are offering $25, $50, and sometimes lower or higher “free” sign-up bonuses. The problem is that many of these lists are out of date.

When I go to the sites it is not often that I see these bonuses. I do see up to 400% matching and even better but you have to deposit money into the account in order to get those. This is still a good deal but if you just want to get your feet wet and practice a little without making the commitment you may have a more difficult time.

I realize that there are free casinos out there that allow free play for practice and most of the cash online sites offer the opportunity to do this as well. The problem is you will not normally be seeing the way it really works when just practicing.

Maybe it is just me but I think that any online casino is going to show big payouts on the practice site in an attempt to draw you in so that you will spend money. The real games and the practice games are much, much different.

A good example comes from an online list that advertises a $50 sign up bonus, no deposit required from the Lucky Red Casino. There is a $50 bonus, but it is for those who bring a friend. This casino offers a great number of bonuses including a sign up bonus on your first deposits but there is no “free, no deposit” bonus.

This is just one example. The lists that you will find on the Internet are most likely affiliate sites that are sharing in the profit with the casino. Genius idea, especially since this is the direction that most online advertising is headed. But it is very misleading or maybe the sites are simply not updated as much as necessary.

Either way, finding free play casinos is easy to do if you have a lot of time to waste and don’t care that you are not going to win any of that cash that you are winning. I tried one yesterday. I was given $150 in play money. I decided to play the slots and betting the max each time I was up to $6,700 within about 45 minutes. Since I am fully aware that this was not the way of the jungle in the real section of this particular casino, I left and went on about my business.

A few years ago there were some great deals on “no deposit required” bonuses. Now, I am having a hard time finding them. I see a great deal of mis-information and false-advertising out there.

If anyone has any ideas on where the best free bonuses are at on the web, please enlightening the rest of us. I do see some offer $7 up to $27 no deposit. Maybe the days of the real $50 no deposit bonuses are gone.

This is now the time when people really need to be careful how much money they are spending trying to make money. They say that it takes money to make money but does online gambling fall into the “making money” category?

I was just over at Pure Vegas Casino and I have to say that this site is probably one of my favorites. No, I did not get rich but I kept to my limit. The slot machines there kept me pretty busy for about an hour and a half.

It was quite exciting really, there was a time when I thought that I should just cash out and go but the amount was so minimal that I just wanted to relax and have a little fun checking the place out.

The slots I liked the best were the 20 line slots. Of course you need to have a great memory to remember the payouts but seeing the diamonds pop up and give you free plays was exciting to say the least. Of course you will always win a little during the free plays but the odds of getting more free spins during your free play session are slim.

The casino matches up to $1250 on your first deposits so if you are not being struck by the economy like everyone else this can be a great opportunity to have a little fun and earn some money to either pay bills, save, or ummm gamble a little more.

Take your time when you visit this site because there really is a lot to see and do. The music is not annoying and hardly plays at all. In fact, if you are stuck at the office and bored out of your mind then this may be a place to play for some real money and the boss will never know. This is of course depending upon how much you win.

Pure Vegas Casino can be played by either download or instant play. You can just practice or play for real money as well. Not downloading has its advantages because you will not clog up your computer with tons of software. However, you will not win as much money on the instant play version. This is the perfect casino for those who are just trying their luck and do not wish to gamble for a living or take a big chance at losing what little you might have left.

The site is attractive and very easy to navigate. The only real problem that I saw was the games seemed to take a while to load. I found this only a little frustrating and just went and clicked on a different game.

They do offer the normal 7s and stripes slots but this seemed to be a little boring to me as I wanted to really dive into the online version and see what it offered in addition to the normal slot machines. If you are looking for a place to play some great slot machines then Pure Vegas is worth your visit.

In the past, methods of gambling were somewhat limited. You could travel to Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Indian reservations to satisfy your gambling urge. Eventually, gambling cruises became available and cruisers could enjoy trying their luck up and down the Mississippi river and in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.

Just a few short years after the popularity explosion of the Internet we began seeing online casinos. No longer did we have to plan a vacation to one of the casino destinations in order to quench our gambling thirst.

Now that there are so many ways to gamble, has online gaming led to more gambling addiction? Is the excitement of gambling the same without all the bells and whistles and mesmerizing neon lights? Are the online casinos rigged so that it is impossible to win? There are many questions that one can look at to determine whether or not online casinos are better than the brick and mortar casinos.

Some of the answers may lie in personal preference and how well you are at controlling your gaming experiences. It is, after all, all about control. Online gambling sites offer the opportunity to win money from the comfort of your own home. They also may offer the opportunity to become addicted.

Personally, I like the convenience of online gambling sites and knowing that if I look hard enough I can find some great deals. Many sites offer matching bonuses or “free” money in an attempt to get you to try their site. This is an added plus in addition to the convenience as far as I am concerned. Many offer no limits either, meaning you do not have to spend a certain amount in order to receive the bonus.

On the down side of online gambling, there is no excitement unless you are winning money. You will not see a waitress come to your slot machine and offer you free drinks and will not find free food either.

Most brick and mortar casinos offers some sort of show or other types of entertainment to fill the time when you are simply tired of gambling or have lost all of your money. Even though online gambling is extremely convenient, it offers simply, more gambling.

One upside to gambling online besides the free bonuses and convenience is the fact that many have chat rooms where you can talk to new people from all over the world without actually having to look them in the eye. This can be great when playing the slots but in poker this can be a disadvantage. Reading faces is important in this game and if you cannot see the faces you will have to rely totally on instinct and your own skill.

I can see where people who attempt to make a living with gambling can take great advantage of online casinos. It will save them a lot of money and time because they only have to travel as far as their couch or desk in their own home. These types of people have the type of control needed in order to prevent gambling addiction. They are serious and treat it as a job.

Professional online gamblers most likely have certain times during the day when they “work.” To me this would take a great deal of self control. I would always be wondering if the next big online jackpot is just another game away. The little box would be calling me back over and over again. I am sure I am not alone here.

While I have tried and loved the online gambling experience, I really love Las Vegas. The excitement and energy is contagious. There is so much more to do than gamble. This is my type of vacation. I can try my luck and then take a break and do something else.

Gambling has certainly evolved over the years into a convenience for everyone, anywhere. For example, traveling along I-10 across Louisiana and Mississippi you will find casinos everywhere. I found a great one at a truck-stop during one of my many cross-country trips and won enough money to pay for lunch for myself and my 4 companions. I felt as if I was led to stop there. I was happy the rest of the drive winning that small amount of money.

Countries other than the United States are becoming very popular for their casinos as well. Believe it or not, Colombia is one of them. During a trip to Cali, I tried my luck at one of the casinos there and won $45. This may not seem like a great amount, but in Colombia it goes a long way. Of course the casinos are the nicest buildings around and are mostly in the “classier” hotels. It might make one wonder if the casino operators donate a portion of their money to make the city a better place for their residents.

All this being said I would have to say that gambling to me is more of a thrill seeker activity. I love the idea of setting aside a certain amount of money and resolving to stop when I have either lost that amount or won enough to call it a success. I find this much easier to do with brick and mortar casinos and cruises. To me it is just too easy to continue dumping money into this little machine in an effort to win big.

What say you? Do you think that online casinos create more of an environment where one can become addicted to gambling easier than a brick and mortar casino? Is it more exciting to visit a casino rather than just turn it on from home? Or do you just love gambling so much that it really doesn’t matter where the thrill is coming from as long as it is available? The thrill of beating the casino system, which is hard to do, is often the attraction to gambling to begin with or at least it is for me.

I have been looking for the best and most legitimate matching bonuses at online casinos. This has not been an easy task. They are many great offers out there, but then there are those that lure you in and just do not seem to come through on the promises they led you in with.

For example, one casino promises a $25 “bank” with no deposit. This is not the case. They will give you that bonus with your first deposit. Of course this ends up being a great deal in the end if you happen to have the money to spend. They will give you this money on each deposit up to 20 times. For the well-off this is good but for those who just want to get their feet wet this can be a problem.

So what are we to do? Online gaming can be great fun but in the end are the free bonuses worth it? Is it safe to assume that they are all on the up and up? If history has taught us anything it is the fact that if something seems too good to be true then it probably is.

That being said there really are great areas on the Internet where you find a listing of the greatest online casinos with the legitimate offers and the best odds. We can find all kinds of sites offering bonuses on deposits but the bonuses with no deposit are harder to come by.
You will also most likely have to open an account and download the software instead of just playing from the Internet. This might be a good enough reason to have a PC or laptop dedicated to online gaming. This software needed to download in order to get the bonuses can take up a great deal of room on your hard drive.

I feel that it is wise to dedicate some time to investigate each online casino offering “no deposit freebies.” Read the fine print before you take the time to download and set up your account. Locate reviews written by those who have used these sites. They will give you a great idea of how the site operates and what your chances will be going in.

If we take the time to learn from the experts who are willing to share their thoughts and secrets we will have the opportunity to save time and get to gaming quicker, save our computer from un-necessary downloads and a lot of money.

This economy may be affecting our ability to partake in online gambling but for some it could be a way to help out in some financial situations. This is where knowing where to get the real free bonuses comes in handy.

There are stipulations to any free bonus, such as the fact that you just cannot claim the free bonus and run. You will actually have to play the free bonuses that you get. This is where reading the fine print is a must to avoid any disappointments. This might go without saying but sometimes a reminder is necessary.
